Portland River Tours Cancellation Policy

Life happens. If your plans change, here’s how we handle cancellations and rescheduling.

Cancellations

Cancellations 48 Hours Before Scheduled Tour

Cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled tour time:

  • Groups of 6 or fewer – Full refund

  • Large Boat – The Pioneer (7+ guests) – Refund less $500 non-refundable deposit

Cancellations 24 Hours Before Scheduled Tour

Cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled tour time:

  • Receive a 50% refund, or

  • Reschedule to another available date (subject to availability)

Same Day
Cancellations

No refunds for cancellations made on the same day as the scheduled tour. This also applies if you do not show up for your tour and do not reschedule prior to your start time.

  • If a tour is cancelled by Portland River Tours, you’ll receive a Full Refund.

  • We operate rain or shine in all safe weather conditions.

  • Our boats are heated and protected from the rain—designed to cruise comfortably in most weather.

  • Cancellations by us only occur due to mechanical issues or staffing problems.

  • Our private tour boat, the Sweetwater, is limited to 6 passengers max, regardless of size or weight, per State of Oregon regulations.

  • Our larger vessels can accommodate up to 17 passengers.

  • Please ensure you book the correct vessel for your group size.
